Shipping
Depending on the item(s) that you purchased on
TheRugs.com and the location to which the items will be delivered,
different shipping methods will be provided to you. Each shipping method has
its own restrictions and additional charges that might be applied to your
order. Should additional charges applies, you will be notified in advance.
Standard Shipping
Standard shipping is a shipping method, which can be described as a “inside
front door delivery”. Whether you paid for Standard Shipping or took
advantage of “FREE SHIPPING” promotion, the following conditions and
limitations apply:

Under no circumstances can the items left outside of the house or
apartment unless previously arranged.

Standard delivery includes 3 steps only. If your furniture needs
to be delivered to a location above “3 step” level, please, advise us
ahead of time and we will try to accommodate you (additional charges may
apply).

Assembly, while not included, is available for some items that we sell.

White Glove Delivery (additional charges may apply)
Our White Glove Delivery service includes delivering, unpacking, light setup
(15 minutes or less) and positioning your new furniture in any room you
designate. Once our work is complete, the shipping crew will remove all
packing materials.
You will be contacted for an appointment by the Shipping Company ahead of
time so that you can plan your schedule accordingly. Available in the
continental USA to street addresses only. Please allow additional time for
White Glove Delivery.
Please, note that depending on the item(s) that you are purchasing, you may
or may not incur additional charges for White Glove Delivery.
Special Circumstances
Higher Floor Delivery
Requests for 2nd (or higher) floor delivery are handled on a case-by-case
basis. Please, contact us at 800-838-3048 to arrange for your 2nd (or
higher) floor delivery (additional charges may apply).
Upon Delivery
All
customers are required to sign a bill of lading upon delivery and/or
installation. Should you notice any damage to the boxes in which your
furniture was delivered, please, note the damages on the bill of lading.
Shipping Time
All shipping times listed
on TheRugs.com site are approximate and we always strive to adhere to
them as closely as possible. However, due to the fact that delivery times
may be effected by our manufacturers and/or shipping solutions provides, we
cannot be held responsible in the event that your items arrive earlier or
later than estimated. On rare occasions, an item may be damaged during
shipment. The item will then be repaired or replaced which may also delay
the delivery.
Please note: more
shipping time is required for residents of Oregon, Washington,
Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and
South Dakota.
Important: Once a customer has been
issued a tracking number, the order is shipped and can no longer be
cancelled or modified.
